Ethel Virginia Harding's Obituary
Ethel Virginia Harding, 91, of Berea, VA passed away on Friday October 23, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Virginia was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and of Senior Citizens of Spotsylvania.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Delores Hairfield and her husband, Melvin; her son, Archie Harding and his wife, Marion of Fredericksburg; her daughters, Jerelene Jacobs of Sumerduck and Judy Smith of Morrisville; her brother, Sydney Monroe of Fredericksburg; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Virginia’s life will be held Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Berea Baptist Church, 28 Fleet Road, Falmouth, VA 22406 with Pastor Scott Covington and Pastor Peyton Embrey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private.
In leiu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg VA 22407.
