Ethel Mae Stanfar's Obituary
Ethel Mae Stanfar, 98, of Spotsylvania, Virginia passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019. She was born on April 19, 1921 in Seat Pleasant, Maryland.
Ethel was well loved by anyone who met her. She loved her family and looked after them with a big, loving heart. She loved the outdoors and flowers.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Marci Stanfar, of Spotsylvania, and two grandchildren, Michael Stanfar, of Spotsylvania, and Sarah Stanfar of Woodbridge; a brother, Ralph Cleaveland of Maryland, and many nieces and nephews.
Ethel Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Peter David Stanfar, and three sons: David, Michael, and Joseph.
The family will receive family and friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, followed by a gathering of family and friends at the home.
Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in her name to the charily of their choice.
