Esther June Berry's Obituary
Esther June Berry, 94, of Culpeper died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born June 27, 1918 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Albert and Erma Meyers Lange.
Mrs. Berry was a devoted Lutheran who loved to sing in the choir. She enjoyed tending to her garden and reading. She cherished her family and the time spent with them especially her two grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Alan D. Berry of Culpeper; daughter-in-law, Ashu “Ellie” Berry of Centreville, VA; two siblings, Doris Schmidt and James Lange both of Milwaukee, WI; two grandchildren, Heather and Rachael Berry both of Centreville, VA; and was loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Douglas Berry; and her son, David M. Berry.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 6 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kate Costa officiating. The family received friends following the service until 8 pm.
A private inurnment will be held at Culpeper National Cemetery.
