I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Tina, My condolences, prayers and sympathy to the husband, son and other family members. While on active duty living here in Dale City, I used to drive a van in which Tina and a few other women rode in while we worked at the Hoffman Complex in Alexandria. We had great times as they considered me their chauffeur (smiles). We became close friends and she was like my older sister whom I loved very much. R.I.P. eternally and you’ll never be forgotten.
It has indeed been a joy and pleasure to be the pastor of Sis. Ernestine and to travel with her on her faith journey during the past seven years. Though her, I have witnessed the keeping power of a loving God. I watched her as she grew strong, even through she was weak. She never complained, but always when asked replied " I'm okay."
Sis Ernestine was truly a witness of "faith in action." I will always cherish the relationship not only as her pastor, but as a friend as well. May her husband, son and the remainder of the family be assured, that if we be faithful and hold on to God's unchanging hand, that we will see Sis. Ernestine again. Take your rest my sister, I will see you in the "morning!"

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Ernestine. I will always remember her sweet spirit and beautiful smile. Praying for you Hilton,Tarick and the rest of the family. I have nothing but happy memories of the times I spent with Ernestine. She had a heart of gold and always a smiling face. My favorite memory is the day several Ladies from FMZ attended a Tea Party in Culpeper, Va that Ernestine coordinated. We all dressed up with our big hats and had the best time. I feel so lost right now, because there is so much that I want to say to you. I am deeply saddened knowing that you are no longer here with us physically. My heart aches soooo much, because I want to be able to hug and kiss the woman whose taught me so much about life, love and how to be a woman. God brought you to me, and now you are gone. I thank God every day for blessing me to have you as a second mother and as my spiritual advisor. You touched everyone who came in contact with. I promise to always make you proud and be the best person I can be. My heart aches of pain right now, but knowing that you are in a better place soothes it all.
