Ernest Earl Ross, age 74, passed away on August 9, 2009 at his home in Manassas, VA
Ernest Earl Ross was born in 1934 in DuBois, PA
Graduating from DuBois High School. Ernest has been a resident of Manassas for the past 39 years. Ernest was a Vietnam Veteran, he was awarded the Bronze Star he proudly served America as Lt. Commander in the US Navy for 20 years, then worked for the Federal Government for 20 years.
Ernest was survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Jones Ross of Luthersburg, PA ; two daughters, Deborah Blakeman, husband Dave of Lorton, VA and Diane Mitchell, husband Chuck of Delaplane, VA ; three grandchildren, Ross Mitchell, Samantha Blakeman and Evan Blakeman; one nephew,David Jones of Dubois, PA
The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 12, 2009 from 12:00-1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. Interment will take place at the Morningside Cemetery in Dubois, PA
