Ernest Eugene Hall's Obituary
Ernest Eugene Hall, 76, of Rhoadesville, formerly of Manassas, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born on February 24, 1938 in Manassas, VA to the late Harold "Buck" Hall and Elsie Farr.
Ernest or "Ernie" was well known to a lot of people for a lot of accomplishments. To his family and close friends, he was "Brother" or "Bub", to the countless kids he instructed in baseball and football, he was "Coach", he was a husband, uncle, friend to all, but out of all the titles, "Dad", "Grandaddy", "Grandpa", and "Pop" were definitely his favorite. Unconditional love without judgment to all his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He was a great listener and an even better story-teller. He enjoyed his job as a drywall finisher for 45 years.
He is survived by his children; Eric Hall and his wife, Paula of Nokeville, Bobby Hall of Manassas, Ricky Hall and his wife, Kim of Bristow and Pam Hardman and her husband, Darryl Sr. of Culpeper; and his siblings, Doris Smith and Barry Hall and his wife, Barbara.
Additional survivors include his grandchildren, Eric Jr., Jen and her husband, Chris, Elizabeth, Christie, Darryl Jr. and his wife, Kasey, Chad, Hailey, Morgan, Casey, Connor, and Kyle; and his great grandchildren Tyler, Lily, Levi, Max and Riley Jane.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Mary Jane Hall on September 27, 2010.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm at 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 2 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randall Anderson officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
