Pop pop ,
Thank you so much for all that you have done for me. Talking with me through the struggles of high school and motivating me to push through and keep my grades up. Helping fix my car with my dad after my accident. All the conversations we had, I will never forget. You will be greatly missed and will always and forever have a special place in my heart. I love you pop pop.
Love always,
Nicole
Prayers to Eric and Diane and your family. I was saddened to stumble across Buds obituary. I met Bud in 1990 when him and Eric and all Buds crazy brothers did work for me in a Tysons Corner high rise. We became good friends and eventually he was inviting me to his Lake Anna home for some great times. Sometimes I would arrive by boat and climb that hill with grandmas little dog Pepe’ chewing on my little toe all the way to the house. Eric, You and Bud had the relationship that every father dreams of. I always thought I would run into him again at the lake but time gets away way too fast. I’ll think of Bud every time I see a Monza!! Drew Stewart
Pop Pop,
I will miss you so much. Thank you for always asking about my football games and coming to the ones you could to cheer me on. I will always hold my nick name you had for me close to my heart (Pumpkin Head). The little time we had together I will always cherish. I love you Pop Pop with all my heart and I will always remember you! I love you!
Love always Ryan
Bud,
I don’t know where to begin. You have had such an impact in our lives and you will be greatly missed. I have so many fond memories, like going to Culpeper to get your favorite cheeseburgers. Going fishing on Lake Anna, going to so many job sites with you and Eric and working. Small little outings like the time Eric and I took you and Sheila bowling and you both could not move days afterwards because you both were so sore. You being there for each grandchild being born and being there for each special occasion for them. You will be greatly missed by all of us. You will never be forgotten. You will always have a place in our hearts.
I love you Bud!!
Love Always,
Diane
Dad,
I don’t know where to begin. There is so much that I could say since I have so many memories of things that we have done together. You figure of all the things that we have built together from houses, garages, boat houses, playhouse even cars. You will be greatly missed. There is a huge, huge, huge empty spot in my life now that never can be filled. You were my life, my world and I will never forget you. You have always been there for us no matter what the case may be, and now you’re not. You Will never be forgotten. You will always be in my mind and in my heart for the rest of my days here on earth. Hopefully I’ll get to be with you again in the afterlife. I will miss you greatly Dad. I love you Dad so much. Always have, always will.
Love Always,
Eric

Bud (Ernest) was like my older brother. He is actually my brother in-law. Many wonderful memories of trips to Kings Dominion, riding dirt bikes, and camping, as well as family celebrations. He was always cracking jokes, making people laugh. I will miss him dearly. Danny Bell
