Ernest "Glenn" Brown's Obituary
Ernest “Glenn” Brown, 68, of Reva passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2:27 a.m. He was born August 5, 1950 in Prince Georges Hospital in Cheverly, MD to his loving mother and best mom anyone could ask for, Betty M. Brown of Deale, MD and the late Ernest Perry Brown.
Glenn worked many jobs but was a Union Carpenter for 25 years with the last 20 years being a foreman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, woodworking and spending time with his family. Glenn was a loving husband, father, pop-pop, and poppy to his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sheila Karen Brown; two children, Jeffrey Owen Brown and his wife, Tracey, and Lesha Mae Brown Corbin and her husband, Ronald; one brother, Robert Lee Brown and his wife, Katie; two special nieces, Kelly and Megan of Clover, SC; and three grandchildren, Kayleigh Nichole Brown, Chloe Anabel Corbin and Aubree Leigh Corbin.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Adam Meisberger officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at the Brown Family Cemetery in Reva, VA.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Corbin, Jimmy Dodson, Timmy Dodson, Larry Burgess, Richie Burgess and Chad Burgess.
Memorial contributions may be made in Glenn’s name to his wife, Sheila Brown, 17308 Gore Lane, Reva, VA 22735.
