Erik Alan Rinehart's Obituary
Erik Alan Rinehart, born on January 5, 1993, passed away at the age of 30 in his home on February 5, 2023.
He was the most loving, caring, bright and kind person to everyone he met. Erik grew up in Fairfax, Va. until moving to Culpeper, Va. when he was 14. He graduated from Culpeper County High School with honors. He loved the outdoors, basketball, football, music and spending time with his family and friends. His kind soul, loving heart and huge smile touched so many people!
Erik is survived by his parents, Sandra “Sandy” Rinehart, Derek Rinehart and step-mother Maritza Rinehart; his siblings, Skyler and Brianna Rinehart, Ashley Payne, his brothers-in-law; Mitchell and Michael Payne; grandparents, Margaret and William Miller, Nancy Manning and Thomas Rinehart; cousins, Alexis Souder, Garrett, Hayley and Rachel Miller; aunts and uncles, Michael and Karen Souder, Tami Tomlinson and David Miller; in-laws, Bonnie and Cary Payne; as well as many life-long friends from Fairfax and Culpeper.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 3 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Fr. Kevin Walsh officiating. Visitation will follow immediately after the service until 5 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 3pm-9pm at 9521 Store Rd., Culpeper, VA 22701.
Interment will be held at a later date.
