Ennis Allison Norman's Obituary
Ennis Allison “Nick” Norman, age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1943 in Rappahannock County, VA, to the late Milton and Lizzie Heflin Norman.
He was a graduate of Rappahannock County High School. Nick served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam from March 1964 until being honorably discharged in February 1967. He worked for the Farmer’s Co-Op in both Culpeper, Virginia and Rappahannock, Virginia for 40+ years. Nick truly lived life to the fullest through chatting with friends and family, snacking, and spending time with his grandchildren. Nick had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; his son, Curtis Randall “Randy” Norman (Angie), two sisters; Flossie Wharton and Mary Wiley of Woodville, Virginia; brother, John Norman (Nina) of Washington, Virginia; four grandchildren, Randi Lynne Norman (Gary Moore), Dylan Thomas Norman (Kristen Powell), Katrina Renee Norman (Dyllan Hitt), Jonathan Michael Norman; five great-grandchildren; Sean Allen Moore, Brenlyn Marie Moore, Delaney Renee Hitt, Aydan Gregory Hitt and Harper Mae Norman; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Daniel Norman, David Norman, and Rena Burke.
The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jim Williams officiating. Pallbearers serving the family will be Jimmy Norman, Kenny Norman, Timmy Norman, Steve Norman, Walter Burke, and Tony Carder.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Blue Ridge Hospice.
