Emma Howard Martin will always be remembered because of her legacy of love. It was an honor and blessing to know her.
Mother Emma is more than a memory, she's alive, both in Matt, Howard and Kandi, and with God. She lives on in her children.

Hello Sharon it's been a very long time since we've talked, and I wish I had known more about your mothers condition we probably would have spoke sooner. I've missed you both over the years she was always very sweet and such a wonderful person to be around. I loved her home made jellies and pies and all the foods we prepared together it was a delight to know her she always knew how to make someone smile in the hardest of times. I love your mother grandma Emma was a true blessing to have been in my life she taught me that the experiences we have as a child will become the lesions we teach as adults and I thank her for that now that I have a beautiful daughter to raise and I can plant the same seed in her that your more planted in you I love you both and give your brothers a hug for me Love Kory
Emma was a wonderful, kind, fun-loving person, and a great cook to boot. I feel lucky that I got to know her; it's not often you meet someone so special! I'm really going to miss her.

Last year while Emma stayed with Kandi for a couple months, I had the profound pleasure of getting to know her. She shared winning smiles, great stories and desserts that reminded me of my own grandmother's expertise. Emma shared a prized pound cake recipe with me; my attempt was good but obviously missing the ingredient of her "master" touch.
As Kandi's family escorts Emma home today, please know she is being raised in prayer. I pray God removes sin from her as He removes dirt from a piece of white cloth. I pray He overlooks any shortcomings that Emma may have had in this life and judges her according to the best of her deeds. I pray He welcomes her into His paradise and joins her with the righteous.
