Emily A. Price's Obituary
Emily A. Price, 84, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Farmville, VA. She was born June 15, 1928 in Sperryville to the late Maggie Mae Frye Atkins and Ashby G. Atkins.
She was a caregiver for over 40 years. She loved her job and taking care of people and touched the lives of many. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed housecleaning, cooking and watching stock car racing.
She is survived by two sons; Kevin Price and his wife, Michelle of Keyport, NJ and Larry Price and his companion, Linda of Farmville, VA; six grandchildren, Larry, John, Randy, Austin, Rikki and Emma, all of NJ; and four great grandchildren, Patrick, Brianna, Jonathan and Brooke.
Additional survivors include her sister; Jane Estes of Culpeper; two brothers, Eugene Atkins of Valdosta, GA and Julian E. Atkins of Matawan, NJ; someone who was like a son to her, Peter Luccarelli, Jr. and his wife, JoAnn and their three sons, Peter III, James and Christopher; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Price; one sister, Jean Atkins; and four brothers, Kelly Atkins, James Atkins, Fred Atkins and Harrison Atkins.
The family invites friends to gather on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 2 to 5 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
Entombment will be held in Fair View Cemetery in Middletown, NJ.
