Emilienne Wardius' Obituary
Emilienne Eugenie Odette Wardius, 73, of Fredericksburg passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009 at her home.
She was a professional ballerina in France for six years and was a member of the National Wildlife Conservation Society.
Emilienne is survived by her husband of 31 years, Stephen Paul Wardius; a daughter, Kay Lovis Robinson of Fredericksburg; two sons, Frank J. Pannell of Wrightstown, New Jersey and Thierry Pannell of Normal, Illinois; a sister, Jacqueline Omont Muet and her husband, Andre’ of Nantes, France; a brother, Guy Omont and his wife, Jacqueline of Tourleville, France; a daughter-in-law, Jeanne T. Jance of Redmond, Washington; two granddaughters, Jeanine Nicole Robinson of New York City and Jessica M. Ryan of Tucson, Arizona and a grandson, Colt Stephen Jance of Redmond, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henri and Marguerite Omont and a stepson, Jon M. Jance.
Emilienne’s family will receive friends Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg with a rosary being said at 7:00 pm and friends and family giving testimonials of remembrance following. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 31, 2009 at 11:00 am in Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Emilienne’s family requests donations to SPCA of Fredericksburg, 1523 Olde William Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
