Elwood Morris Embrey's Obituary
Elwood Morris Embrey, 90, of Stafford County passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at his home.
He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church and American Legion Post # 28. Elwood was a veteran of World War II.
Elwood is survived by a son, Ronnie L. Embrey and his wife, Rosalie of King George County; a sister, Helen Flack and a brother, Albert Embrey, both of Stafford; five grandsons, Roger L. Embrey and his wife, Holly of Stafford, Brian K. Embrey of Orange, David L. Embrey and his wife, Tammy of West Virginia, Michael W. Embrey of Stafford and Clayton F. Embrey and his wife, Megan of Silver Spring, MD; two granddaughters, Loretta J. Malowicki of King George and Rhonda S. Griffin and her husband, Butch of Warsaw; seven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey and a son, Roger.
Elwood’s family will receive friends Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel with Pastor Dick Harmon and Pastor Paul Curry officiating. Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park.
