Elvin L. Wilson Sr.'s Obituary
MSG Elvin L. Wilson, Sr. USArmy (Ret.), 81, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 at his home.
He was born in West Point, VA to the late Ernest and Winifred Wilson.
Elvin retired in 1976 from the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War and was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Wilson; two sons, Elvin L. Wilson, Jr. and his wife, Sharon and Lynn E. Wilson, both of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Robert Wilson and his wife, Virginia of West Point, VA and Jerry W. Wilson and his wife, Maureen of Saluda, VA and two grandchildren, Devon and Annette Wilson.
Elvin’s family will receive friends Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 P.M at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
A funeral service celebrating Elvin’s life will be held Monday, April 12, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Dr. John DeJong officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
