Elsie Elizabeth Scott
Elsie Elizabeth Scott, 84, of Boston died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born on February 18, 1930 in White Plains, New York to the late Giovanni and Assunta “Susie” Perrone Graziano.
Mrs. Scott was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church for 20 years, a member of Altar Society and taught at CCD.
She is survived by two children; Denise Claus and her husband, Raymond of Boston, Michael Scott and his wife, Marisa of Yorktown, NY; one sister, Palma Lucido and her husband, Bart of Elmsford, NY; and five grandchildren, Raymond Claus III of Martinsburg, WV, Nicole Claus of Boston, Joseph Claus of Boston, Michael Scott of Yorktown, NY and Nicole Scott of Yorktown, NY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Seymour Scott; and four siblings.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with a prayer officiated by Rev. Anselme Malonda-Nkuanga.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Yorktown, NY at a later date with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Epiphany Catholic School, 114 E. Edmondson St. Culpeper, Va 22701 and/or the American Cancer Society.
