Elsie Virginia Richards' Obituary
Elsie Virginia Richards, 85, of Orange, VA passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, at UVA Culpeper Hospital. She was born October 13, 1937, in Charlottesville, VA to the late Lee Omar and Bessie Lee Seale.
Elsie is a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Brandy Station, VA. She was a very Christian lady who loved her family. Elsie was a very loving person.
Elsie is survived by her children, Wayne Richards and Carolyn Richards; one daughter-in-law, Merry Richards; siblings, Sunshine Goodwin and Agnes Smith (Jerry Ray); grandchildren, Jayme Taylor (Brandon), Holly Keeler (Johnny) Craig Richards (Tonisha Thompson), Cassie Richards, Justin Richards, and Samantha Richards; great-grandchildren, Daniel Richards (Megan Leffler), MaKayla Taylor (Ashton May), Tony Pedraza, Alexis Richards, Deja Richards, Faith Richards, Ayden Adams, Jaymeson Keeler, Paityn Richards, Tristyn Keeler, Amyrah Richards, Malakai Samuel, Makenzie Samuel, Julianna Evans, Malayah Samuel, Camilla Richards, and Saige Richards; and LaKisha Pedraza, who was also like a daughter to her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by death by her husband Martin L. Richards; son, Harold Richards; and brother, Lee “Buddy” Omar Seale.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 3, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper with Rev. Bruce Fincham officiating.

Interment will follow at Novum Baptist Church Cemetery, Parrish Road, Reva, VA 22735.
