Elma Gerard's Obituary
Quietly on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital, Elma Esterline Gerard departed this life. She was born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, on September 8, 1918 to the late Anesta Dawson and Edwardo Stephens.
Mrs. Gerard leaves behind to cherish her memory five loving children, Genevieve Collazo, Patricia Fiqueroa, Terry Ann Schmohl, Gregory Stephens and Ted Gerard; one sister, Esme Harley; two brothers, Dennis and Orie Stephens; 20 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Elma’s family will receive friends Saturday, August 30, 2008 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels~Cremation Service 10719 Courthouse Road Fredericksburg, VA, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery at 1:00pm.
