Ellsworth Kohler's Obituary
Ellsworth Kohler, 86, died Saturday, April 26, 2008.
Mr. Kohler was a U.S. veteran having served in both the Navy and Army. He was a former commander of V.F.W. and a life member of both V.F.W. and American Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jayne, and his daughters, Kathy Bargar of Jacksonville, FL, Ellen Khoury of Culpeper, Judith Gogolin of Scottsdale, AZ, his son, Christopher Kohler of Carbondale, IL, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael, and a grandson, Michael John II.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery (New) with military honors provided by Culpeper American Legion Post #330 and V.F.W. Post #2524.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Precious Blood Catholic Church Building Fund, 114 E. Edmondson St., Culpeper, VA 22701 &/or a charity of your choice.
