Ellen Ann Hite's Obituary
Ellen Ann Hite, 80, of Front Royal, died Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester, VA. She was born November 17, 1944, in Leesburg to the late Charles Woodward and Buelah Canary.
Ellen was a member of New Life Baptist for over 15 years. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Jo Thompson (Robert); one daughter-in-law, Nina Hite; one son-in-law, Lee Stidham; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wesley L. Woodward.
In addition to her parents, Ellen is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Woodrow Hite; two children, Alfred Fenton Hite and Laura A. Stidham; and one brother, Fenton J. Woodward.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at New Life Baptist Church, 12302 Alum Springs Rd, Culpeper with Pastor Bernard Heinz officiating.
Interment will follow at New Life Baptist Church Cemetery.
