Ellen Irene Harden's Obituary
Ellen I. Leible-Harden, 69, of Spotsylvania County, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born on June 1, 1956, Ellen was a talented and creative soul whose hands were rarely still. She found great joy in sewing, crafting, knitting, and designing, sharing her beautiful creations with family and friends. Her eye for detail and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Ellen shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, John B. Harden, Jr. Together they built a life filled with laughter, love, and lasting memories.
She is also survived by her beloved son, James Toombs “BO”; her brother, Chucky Leible; her nieces, Dawn and Christy; and her loyal companion, Violet, her cherished dog.
Ellen was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ruby R. Leible and Charles D. Leible; as well as her faithful dog, Bossman, who now welcomes her home.
A memorial service to celebrate Ellen’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025 at Found & Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, Virginia. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and honor a woman whose warmth and creativity brightened the lives of so many.
Ellen’s gentle spirit, love for her family, and creative passion will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
