Ella Virginia Burke's Obituary
Ella Virginia Burke, 91, of Catlett died Saturday, January 07, 2012 at Fauquier Health, Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Warrenton. She was born May 5, 1920 in Rappahannock County to the late Peyton Jenkins and Laura Dodson Jenkins.
Mrs. Burke was a member of Flint Hill Pentecostal Church.
Mrs. Burke is survived by one daughter, Ella Mae Johnson and her husband, Freddie, of Catlett, and two sons, Robert H. Burke and his wife, Judy, of Catlett, and Earl G. Burke and his wife, Nancy, of Cordova, SC. Additional survivors include fifteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burke is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew L. Burke, two children, Charles L. Burke and Jimmy Lee Burke, three brothers, Jake Jenkins, Edward Jenkins and Ashby Jenkins and three sisters, Mamie Rutherford, Lucy Jenkins and Anna Jenkins Welch.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 7pm to 9pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 11 am at Flint Hill Pentecostal Church with Pastor Bobby Jenkins and Harold Byler officiating.
Interment will follow at Washington Masonic Cemetery.
