Elizabeth Sine's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Sine, 71, of Culpeper died at Fauquier Hospital on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, after a short illness. Born in Leonardtown, Md., June 15, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Violet Hayden Norris. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Leonardtown in 1958 and lived for a number of years in Washington, D.C., the Maryland suburbs and in Bealton where she was on the staff of Micron Technologies (formerly Dominion Semiconductors.)
Mrs. Sine was on the staff at Fauquier Hospital in recent years where she was highly regarded as a dedicated and loyal employee. Noted for her kindness and generosity, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Marjorie Griczin and her husband, James II of Spotsylvania, David Shea of Culpeper and John Elwood Sine, Jr. and his wife Lori Marie of Chesterfield, as well as a brother, George Norris of Reston, and her former husbands Robert E. Shea of Upper Marlboro, Md., and John E. Sine of Stafford.
Other survivors include six grandchildren, Robert E. Shea III, James K. Griczin, III, Katelyn Marie Griczin, Brandie Quinn, Tabitha Shea and Richard C. Sine, and two great grandchildren, Alyssa Morgan Shea and Joseph Quinn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert E. Shea, II, and her sister, Virginia Lee Trammelle.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
