Elizabeth Ann Power's Obituary
Elizabeth Power died August 11, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was known as Betsy to her family and Betty to her many friends. Betsy was a woman of profound faith. She was a Benedictine Oblate and had a devotion to Mary.
She rose to the position of Assistant Vice President at US Healthcare but it was her faith and her devotion to her family that centered her life. She loved gathering her family together.
Betsy is survived by her husband, John; sons, Tom (Carol), Bob (Sandy), Eric (Denise), Scott (Carrie), and Steven (Kathleen); daughter, Helen Huff (Tim); 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Elizabeth.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church. Interment will be in Maryland at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Benedictine Sisters of Baltimore, Emmanuel Monastery.
