Erin- On behalf of the Kavanagh family, it is with heavy hearts that we share our sorrow with the entire O’Neil family over the news of your mom’s passing. It was deeply saddening when your message aptly described “…that it strangely feels like the last thread between our families has been pulled.” We were all blessed with having experienced such exotic travels during which our parents and families forged a life-long friendship. And now through the years we have established our own families, created our own adventures, grown old ourselves, and ultimately, grown apart. With all of our heroes gone, we must preserve all of the fond and endearing memories we have from growing up together overseas, the milestones of life witnessed here at home in weddings, births, and sadly funerals. Let’s ensure that the last thread pulled completes a stitch.
