Elizabeth Ann Hitt's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Hitt, 87, of Amissville, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, November 16,2023 at Fauquier Hospital. She was born January 14, 1936 to the late John William Hoffman and Mabel Clay Hoffman.
Ann is survived by her children, Evelyn Kilby and husband, Danny of Culpeper, Roger L. Hitt and wife, Janet of Amissville, and Mark W. Hitt and wife, Teresa of Brandy Station; sisters, Lillie Mae Early of Fredericksburg and Dorothy Orrison of Castleton; grandchildren, Todd Hitt, Joshua Hitt, Daniel Hitt, Julie Hitt, David Hitt, Jeramy Hitt, Gana Locker, and Chassiti Christian; eighteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Hitt and her brothers, George Hoffman, Glen Hoffman, Douglas Hoffman, and Ricky Hoffman.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA, 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Gourdvine Baptist Church, 7103 Eggbornsville Rd, Rixeyville, VA, 22735 with Pastor Steve Hoffman officiating.
Internment will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Rd, Jeffersonton, VA, 22724.
Pallbearers serving the family will be Todd Hitt, Daniel Hitt, Joshua Hitt, Devin Hitt, Dalton Hitt, and Colton Hitt.
