Elizabeth Fargo's Obituary
Elizabeth “Libby” Geneì Stecher Fargo, 53, of Ruckersville died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Charlottesville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 13, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii to William and Audrey Stecher of Fredericksburg, VA.
Libby was a devoted preschool teacher for 20 years and was a member of the National Education Association and the Gold Star Mother’s of America. She enjoyed arranging artificial flowers, scrapbooking, reading and she had a love of shopping, especially for shoes! She will be remembered as a great wife and mother.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of over 31 years, Douglas A. Fargo, two children, Jason Douglas Fargo of Atlanta, GA and Sarah Elizabeth Fargo of Richmond, VA, two brothers, Thomas Stecher of Albuquerque, NM and Rodney Stecher of Fredericksburg, VA as well as aunts, uncles, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, U.S. Army Corporal Adam Joseph Fargo.
