Elizabeth Antoinette Chavez's Obituary
Elizabeth Antoinette Chavez, 52, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015, in King George County after a long illness.
She was born on June 7, 1962, and attended Fairfax County schools, graduating from Lake Braddock High School. She earned a degree in education from Saint Francis University in Loretta, Pa. She devoted herself to education in several Virginia schools.
She is survived by her loving family: her husband, Joseph K. Chavez of King George, and their sons, Joseph M. Chavez of Richmond and Gabriel P. Chavez of Blacksburg; her parents, Frank A Damico and Eleanor M. of Rochelle; her brother Joseph F. Damico, his wife, Maria, and their daughters, Helena and Hope, all of Chesterfield; her brother Brian N. Damico, his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Camryn, Elizabeth, Nicholas and Robert, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; her aunt Frances B. Craig of Ashburn and her children, Ellen M. Craig of San Francisco and Christopher S. Craig of Coronado, Calif; her aunt Maryann B. Fair of Hillsborough, Calif., and her sons, Robert T. Fair and James J. Fair, both of Los Angeles, and Tyler B. Fair of Hillsborough; her in-laws, Joseph J. and Anne–Marie Chavez of Greenbackville; her sister-in-law Sheryl C. Burton of Livermore, Calif., and her children, Edward and Sarah; and sister-in-law Carol S. Chavez of Glen Allen.
Viewings will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March, 11, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels–Cremation Services, located at 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
A funeral will held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at the funeral home.
