Rev. Elizabeth Joann Brewster's Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Rev. Elizabeth JoAnn Brewster, 69, of Rhoadesville, VA. Our devoted wife, mother, sister, Nana and friend went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2022.
Liz was born in Richlands, Virginia on October 20, 1952 to Alfred “Richard” and Betty Cole.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Hoban, and brothers, Roy and Richard “Bunny” Cole.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Dwayne Brewster, her mother-in-law, Goldie Brewster; her children, Bobbie Bernard (Jake), Jennifer Turner and Jerry Wade; her grandchildren, Meaghan, Jake, Emily, Sophia, Cole, Bayleigh, and Carter; her great-grandchildren, Jaedyn and Aubree; her siblings, Jackie Van Houten, Freda Little (Jimmy), Ronnie Cole (Pat), and Randy Cole (Suzanne); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She had a love for Jesus and was a pastor at Hosanna Fellowship Church. She had a passion for cake decorating and retired as a baker from Giant Food. She is most commonly known for her kindness, sense of humor, and love. To know her was to love her, she will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Theresa Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
