“Elli” Elisabeth Louise Bock Lord, 88
Born on June 15, 1920 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Heinrich and Johanna Bock.
Elisabeth passed away on Saturday May 2, 2009 in Manassas, VA
Elisabeth met her husband “Jerry “ Mederic Jeremie Lord in 1947 in Germany, married Jerry April 1, 1949 in Frankfurt Germany and moved to the USA as Jerry had a career in the US Army. They lived in Europe and the US. After retirement from the Army, Jerry and Elli owned different computer companies.
Elli is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Elisabeth and her husband, Dr. Louis I. Koff of Manassas; two granddaughters; Leija Elisabeth Koff Lucks of Manassas and Dr. Tara Bernadette Koff of Manassas; one great granddaughter, Sierra Elisabeth Lucks of Manassas. Other survivors include her sister, Margot Wetzel of Frankfurt Germany.
Elli was a loving wife to Jerry, a loving mother, and a loving oma. We will love and miss her eternally, as she will us. God bless you.
A private funeral service for the family will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 10:30 am at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109 with Pastor Heath D. Butler officiating. Interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
