Eleanor Davis Pullen's Obituary
Eleanor Davis Pullen, 84, of Washington, VA, died Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at her home. She was born May 27, 1938 in Rappahannock County to the late Soloman and Myrtle Bruce.
Eleanor was a good, Christian woman who was filled with the holy ghost. She loved her family, and above all, God. She was a member of Fellowship Assembly of God, and also attended Gid Brown Bible Baptist. Her favorite color was yellow and she loved flowers.
She is survived by her children, Joan Davis Baldwin (Robert), Lewis Pullen, Jr. (Amanda), Greg Pullen (Ellen O’Neal), Pam Alther, and Jerry Pullen; one brother, Billy Bruce (Betty); nine grandchildren, Carrie Hoffman (Scott), Kayla Irene Pullen, Gregory Pullen, II, David Alther, Jr., Callie Ann Alther, Jerry Pullen, Jr. (Amanda), Evonne Pullen, Amber Pullen, and Megan Pullen; and a host of great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Bryant Pullen; and six siblings.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Washington Masonic Cemetery, Fodderstack Road, Washington, VA 22747 with Rev. Joel Cress officiating.
