Elaine Doreen Overton's Obituary
Elaine Doreen Overton, 72, of Culpeper passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 17, 1940 in Alexander, Iowa to the late Adolph and Merrill Swope Tendall.
Mrs. Overton was a member of Mountain View Community Church. She was a master gardener and took great pride in her plants. She enjoyed sewing, playing slots, poker, cards and Sudoku.
She is survived by her daughter, Athena Baker and her husband, Lance of Warrenton; two grandchildren, Van Baker and his wife, Victoria of Centreville and Kyle Baker of Catlett; one great grandson, Dean Baker of Centreville and one brother, Harold Tendall of Machesney Park, IL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Overton; and one son, William Overton.
A celebration of Elaine’s life will be held at a later date.
