Eirini Karella's Obituary
Eirini Karella, 94, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was a member of The Nativity of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church.
Eirini is survived by her two sons, John Thomas of Greece and George Karellas and his wife, Dirce of Maryland; her daughter, Sophia Psaras and her husband, Emmanuel of Fredericksburg; her brother, George Othitis and his wife, Vagelitsa of Greece; her sister, Foteni Coloutchy of Italy; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Sophia Othitis and her husband, Emmanuel Karellas.
Eirini’s family will receive friends Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers Eirini’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Nativity of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 12326 Spotswood Furnace Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
