Edwin McClure's Obituary
Edwin McClure, 96, of Spotsylvania, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018.
Edwin was a World War II Veteran from the Pacific Theater. Later in life, he was an avid woodworker, who loved to build birdhouses and other wood structures. He would share his art with everyone he came across. Although Edwin was 96 years old and blind, he continued to do his art by feel. His last project was a wishing well that he left as his legacy for his family to cherish.
He is survived by his children, Michael McClure (Christine), Kathleen Capps, Debra McClure, and Lorie Lawrence (Bill), 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
Edwin was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly.
Edwin and Beverly will be laid to rest together at Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
