Edward Lee Baker's Obituary
Edward Lee Baker, 63, of Reva died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1945 in Rappahannock County to the late Henry Ervin and Virginia Knott Baker.
Mr. Baker enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and special friend, AJ. He was a kind person that would do anything for anyone and will be remembered as a man of his word.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Nelson Baker, four children, Bonnie Carpenter and her husband, Robert, Carrie Buchanan and her husband, Brian, Edward Baker, Jr. and his wife, Chelsea, Jesse Baker and his wife, Ashley, and five grandchildren, Brittany, Jacob and Ryan Carpenter, Chase Buchanan and Katie Baker.
Additional survivors include five brothers, David, Junior, Robert, Wayne and Bill Baker, and one sister, Nina Peyton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and George Baker, and one sister, Ann Anderson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Rev. Russell Jenkins officiating. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
