Edward H. Corder, Sr.'s Obituary
Edward Humphries Corder, Sr., 84, died on Friday, May 8, 2009 at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA. He was born on November 11, 1924 in Korea, VA to the late Henry C. and Victoria P. Scott Corder.
Mr. Corder enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by one daughter, Nancy C. Krause, four sons, Edward H. Corder, Jr., James Russell Corder, Kenneth Alan Corder and Richard G. Corder, one stepson, Carl Thomas Stickels, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Corder was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Stickels Jacobs Corder.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 1pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of Culpeper, VA.
