Edward Marcellus Payne's Obituary
Edward Marcellus Payne, 67, of Culpeper died Monday, September 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born May 4, 1952 in Fauquier to the late Charles Venable Payne, Sr. and Audrey Huffman Payne.
Mr. Payne attended Liberty Community Church in Bealeton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, metal detecting and flying airplanes. Above all, he loved his family.
He is survived by three siblings, Charles V. Payne, Jr., Sarah M. Payne and Leigh N. Findley (Wayne); and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Duff Payne.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper Masonic Cemetery with Pastor Ron Young officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Capital Caring, 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, VA 22042.
