Edward Jarrell's Obituary
Edward “Ed” Jarrell, 74, of Orange passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 in Madison County. He was born June 21, 1949 to the late Ivan “Tommy” Aldridge Jarrell and Helen Marks Jarrell in Charlottesville, VA.
Ed was raised in Wolftown, VA and enjoyed cars, playing basketball and baseball. As a young boy, he developed a passion for hunting. He was a lifelong hunter and avid fisherman. Some of his most cherished moments were bear hunting with his Dad and going on fishing and hunting trips with his friends. After many years of dedicated service, he retired from his lifelong profession as an Autobody mechanic. Ed leaves behind a legacy of camaraderie among good friends, fellow hunters and family who shared his passion for the outdoors.
Left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Sheila Brooks of Orange; daughters, Dana Harty and husband, Steve of Culpeper, VA, Melissa Jarrell Miller of Nelson, VA, and Lara Goolsby of Greene, VA; grandchildren, Blake Harty of Culpeper, VA, Bryce Harty of Charlottesville, VA, Preston and Nicholi Miller of Nelson, VA, and Eddie and Bella Goolsby of Greene, VA; and his beloved fur baby, Roxie.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. Friends and Family will come together to share stories and honor Ed’s life.
