Edward Colville Griffith's Obituary
Edward Colville Griffith, 89, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Edward was born at Ingleside in Oak Grove Virginia to the late Julian and Cornelia Griffith. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946.
Edward is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret; son, David and his wife, Madeline; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two children.
A private service will be held in Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Edward’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of a memorial gift to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2217 Princess Anne Street #106-1F, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
