Edward Dean's Obituary
Edward Dean, 66, of Culpeper, VA, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
Edward was born on August 10, 1955 to the late Lanvil Corbin and Mary Fields Dean. He was a good old country boy from the Appalachian Mountains. A carpenter for 50 years, he was skilled with his hands. He loved fishing, music, dancing, and spending time with his family and grandkids.
He had a heart of gold, he loved life, people, and was always happy. He loved everyone and would help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Fincham; sisters, Barbara Hartsock, Lola Addison, Lisa Stuart, Ruth Layne; brothers, Jimmy Dean, Johnathan Tibis; and fiancé, Della Fincham.
He is survived by his loving children, Pat Brown, Debbie Fincham, Darlene Cubbage Hough, Michael Dean, Daniel Dean, Angelia Yonts, Melanie Hall, Jonathan Hall, J.T. Dean; mothers of his children, Sue Dean, Barbara Wince; sisters, Shelvey Robinson, Kathy Hill, Zelda Raines; brother and best friend, Bubby Dean; brother, Junior Dean; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:30 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike Culpeper, VA 22701. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Josh Wolfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 822 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
Serving as pallbearers will be J.T. Dean, J.R. Dean, Clinton Cubbage, Jonathan Hall, Robbie Dean, and Daniel Dean. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Cubbage, Zach Clatterbuck, and Wesley McGlothlin.
