Edward Junior Coats' Obituary
Edward Coats, 46, of Fredericksburg, passed away at his home on Monday, January 24, 2022.
Edward was raised to love the Lord and he had such a heart for people. He never met a person he did not like, that he did not pray for and encourage. He loved his family and I know one of his greatest joys was seeing God work in his brother’s life and see his wife come back to the Lord. He touched the lives of so many in life that his fingerprints will be felt for many years to come. In our grief let’s remember his joy, in our sorrow let’s remember his heart and most of all let us remember that to be absent on Earth is to be present with his Lord and Savior.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his children, Andrew, Samuel and Elizabeth Coats; his siblings, Rodney Coats, Kimberly Goldman, and Tommy Lemon; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving extended family.
Edward was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Baucom.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022 at International Revival Outreach Center, 150 Leland Rd, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
