Edna A. Chloupek's Obituary
Edna A. Chloupek, 89, a 40 year resident of Sun City, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Culpeper Regional Hospital, Culpeper, VA.
She is survived by her sister, Geraldine McAllister of San Pablo, CA, two sons, Laurence A. Chloupek of Potomac, MD, and Dr. Robert J. Chloupek of Terre Haute, IN, one daughter, Kay C. Patton of Midland, VA, six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Albert and Emma Brever, she was preceded in death by her husband, COL Laurence E. Chloupek, and brothers, Louis, Kevin and Denis Brever.
A Christian Wake Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. The family will receive friends until 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper, VA.
Interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 9 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Ft. Myer Army Community Services (attn: Mr. Leonard Troyer), 201 Custer Rd, Bldg. 201, Ft. Myer, VA 22211 or to Catholic Charities, 305 Hanson Ave., Ste. 180, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
