Edna Robinson's Obituary
Edna Wilson Robinson, age 85, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010. She was born in Culpeper to the late Howard and Ruth Wilson.
Edna was a devoted wife to James Robinson for 51 years until his death in 2007. She was a longtime dedicated member of New Southern Rock Baptist Church (Washington, DC) and Free Union Baptist Church. Edna had many passions including cooking, church, sewing and her love and devotion to children within the family and community.
Edna is survived by her devoted daughter, Nina Lawrence; grandson, Michael Dinkins; and great granddaughter, Kamari Dinkins. She is also survived by three sisters, Nettie Holmes, Florence Wilson and Mary Dinkins; brother-in-law, Benjamin Dinkins; a special niece, Sharon Kemper; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 12pm at the Free Union Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Calvin Lawrence officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Free Union Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
