Edgar S. Nalls' Obituary
Edgar Spitler Nalls, 85, of Culpeper died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born September 21, 1925 in Rectortown, VA to the late Raymond Carl and Rachel Furr Nalls.
Mr. Nalls was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper. He loved music, playing the guitar and singing.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Gail Nalls, his children, Sterling Wayne Nalls and his wife, Joan of Middleburg, Terri Nalls Yowell and her husband, Mark of Culpeper, Kathy Starnes and her husband, Kevin of Culpeper and Kimberly Nalls of Culpeper, one brother, Dick Nalls of Midland, and two grandchildren, Tiffany Yowell and Konner Starnes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, and his first wife, Vivian Butler Nalls.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Young officiating.
