Earlene Frances Kern's Obituary
Earlene Kern, 73, of Partlow, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Earlene enjoyed plants, flowers, the beach, family get togethers, especially Christmas, crocheting, shopping, arts and crafts, collecting knick-knacks, and rearranging the house and yard. She was very sentimental, strong willed, and very rooted in her faith.
Earlene is survived by her husband of 47 years, Elwood W. Kern, Sr.; children, Crystal Furrow of Spotsylvania County, Deborah Curry of Maryland, Amber Marrow (David) of Fairfax County, Elwood Kern, Jr. (Bethany) of Partlow, Debra Frank (Willie) of Baltimore, MD, and William Kern of Texas; brother, Frank Evans, Jr. (Carol) of Colonial Beach; 12 grandchildren; Stephen, Andrew, Elliot, Taylor, Michael, Megan, Vincent, Bayley, Logan, Joanna, William Jr., and Devin; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, whom she loved and missed very much, Frank and Mildred Evans; and two aunts.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
