Earl Leroy Lowman's Obituary
Earl LeRoy “Butch” Lowman, 70, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at his home in Caroline County.
He was born on September 22, 1939 in South Connellsville, PA to the late Harry and Dorothy Lowman. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Ray B. and James E. Lowman.
Mr. Lowman retired from Safeway Foods in 2001. He was a member of the Fredericksburg Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Fredericksburg Optimist Club for over 20 years.
Surviving Earl are his wife of 47 years, Mary Lowman of Caroline County; daughter Michele L. Coffman and her husband, Mark, of Caroline; three grandchildren, Jacob Earl Coffman, Sydney Helen Coffman and Kaileen Hope Coffman, all of Caroline; a sister Patsy Ruth Edinger of MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Butch loved to travel with family and friends. The Caribbean was a favorite spot. He also loved cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Fredericksburg Presbyterian Church at 6 pm. The Reverend Patrick Dennis will officiate the ceremony. In keeping with his giving nature, Mr. Lowman has donated his body to science so that others may benefit.
