Earl Daniel Cash's Obituary
Earl Daniel Cash, 79, of Fredericksburg, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He is a member of the First Bible Baptist Temple.
Earl leaves behind Jane Samuels, his wife and loving companion of many years; three daughters; Martha Ann Tyree of Spotsylvania County, Carolyn Cash Turman and her husband, Michael of King George County and Sharon Cash Hoelscher and her husband, Darryl of Charlottesville; six grandchildren, Brandon, Taylor, Logan, Kimberly, Kristy, and Danny; four great-grandchildren and one niece. He also leaves behind his sister, Mae Cash Taylor and her husband, Ron of Lynchburg and a brother, Richard Cash of Port Royal.
In addition to his parents, Charles Cash and Eva Bowler Cash, he is preceded in death by his brother Charles (JR) Cash.
Earl served his country as a Medical Corpsman in the U.S. Army. His service was from 1949 to 1952 during the Korean War. He was a survivor of the Chosin Reservoir campaign.
Earl returned to Fredericksburg and worked for the American Viscose (FMC) Plant from 1952 until his retirement in 1978. After his retirement Earl cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Earl’s family will receive friends Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Services, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, with a funeral following at 12:00pm. Interment will take place following the service in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors.
