Ducky Carter's Obituary
Gilbert Stanley Ducky Carter, 64, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Ducky worked at Oak Hill Cemetery for over 20 years. He loved to buy and sell antiques, and loved the simple pleasures of life and he could make conversation with anyone.
He is survived by his children, Angie Richardson of Stallings, NC, Pamela, Brenda, and Danny Carter, all of Fredericksburg; a brother, Peter P. Carter of Spotsylvania County and a sister, Mary Rose Duerson of Fredericksburg and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 13, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Haynes Family Cemetery.
Ducky’s family request that in leiu of flowers that donations be made to Angie Richardson, c/o Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
