Dr. Robert "Bob" Kinneman, Jr.'s Obituary
Dr. Robert “Bob” Kinneman, Jr., 88, of Culpeper died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1930 in Greenfield, IN to the late Robert Kinneman, Sr. and Irma Kuster Kinneman.
Dr. Kinneman served in the US Navy and retired as Captain. He was a Duke Alumni having received his medical degree from Duke University and a Masters in public health from UNC. He was an avid cook and loved cars and animals. Above all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Kinneman; and one daughter, Carol Kinneman-Harper (Charles).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Eugene Kinneman, III.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor John Grotz officiating with full military honors. A one hour visitation will follow at the conclusion of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Culpeper County Animal Shelter, 10144 James Monroe Hwy, Culpeper, VA 22701.
