Douglas Michael Twyman's Obituary
Douglas Michael Twyman, Jr, 43, of Reva, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2026.
Doug was born on March 20, 1982 to Donna (Davis) Southard and Douglas "Skip" Twyman in Charlottesville, VA.
Doug married Wendy Cassell-Twyman in 2015, and had become a part of a big family with his daughter Destiny Twyman and two step-kids, Roger Glines and Amanda Glines. Later he became a grandfather, aka pap-pap to Elena Glines Calles.
Doug was a handyman and jack of all trades. He loved working in his wood shop and was very talented in his wood carvings. He loved his dogs and was a big Green Bay Packers fan. Doug started working with Hopke in 2015 until 2025 as a pipe layer. The summer of 2025, he went to work for E-Contractors.
Doug is survived by his wife Wendy Cassell-Twyman; his daughter Destiny Twyman; his step daughter; Amanda Glines; his granddaughter, Elena Glines Calles; his mother Donna Southard and step dad Rob Southard; his sister Sabrina Brundage; brother n-law Stevie Brundage; his step brother, step sister, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Doug was preceded in death by his step-son Roger Michael Glines and his dad Douglas Michael Twyman, Sr.
Celebration of Life will be held on March 21, 2026 at 2 pm at Sabrina's home, 6445 S. Seminole Trail, Rochelle, VA 22738.
